This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, shared and protected in connection with the KM Goods website and the communications we send.
KM Goods is a brand operated by KGV CONSULTORIA DE TI LTDA, a company registered in Brazil. KM Goods is a trading brand and not a separate legal entity. The controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy is KGV CONSULTORIA DE TI LTDA, CNPJ 49.601.381/0001-53, with registered address at Av. References to "we", "us" and "our" in this policy mean KGV CONSULTORIA DE TI LTDA operating under the KM Goods brand.
Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information.
Information you give us
- Contact details — first name, email address and phone number, when you complete a sign-up form or write to us.
- Communication preferences — the marketing channels you have opted in to, the exact wording of the consent you agreed to, and the date and time you gave it.
- Correspondence — the content of messages you send us and our replies.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and the time of each visit.
- Cookie identifiers — identifiers stored by cookies and similar technologies, as described in section 06.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- operate, maintain and improve this website;
- send the marketing communications you have opted in to receive, by email or SMS;
- respond to questions, requests and support enquiries;
- understand which pages and products are useful, in aggregate, so we can improve what we publish;
- keep records of consent and opt-out requests, which we are required to retain to demonstrate compliance;
- detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
Where consent is the basis for processing — as it is for marketing email and SMS — you may withdraw it at any time, as described in section 10.
Email addresses and phone numbers
We collect an email address and a phone number only when you enter them yourself, and only for the purposes shown on the form at the moment you submit it.
- Email. Used to send the updates, product information and promotional messages you signed up for, and to reply to you.
- Phone number. Used only to send SMS messages under the programme described in section 05, and only if you separately ticked the SMS consent box.
Providing a phone number is optional. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase, and declining does not restrict your use of this website.
SMS communications and consent
You may voluntarily opt in to receive recurring marketing text messages from KM Goods. Consent is given by ticking an unchecked box that stands on its own, separate from any other agreement, and it is never bundled with acceptance of our Terms or any other permission.
By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive recurring marketing text messages from KM Goods. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.
SMS opt-in consent and phone numbers are not sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS consent records are used solely to deliver the KM Goods messaging programme. They are disclosed only to the messaging service providers that transmit those messages on our behalf, under contracts that prohibit using the data for any other purpose, and to the extent required by law.
Stopping messages
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation message and then no further marketing texts. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details in section 15.
Consent records
When you opt in, we record the phone number, the exact consent wording displayed to you, and the date and time of consent. We keep that record for as long as we send you messages and afterwards for the period described in section 09, so that we can evidence your consent and honour your opt-out.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for two purposes:
- Strictly necessary — to make the site work, keep it secure and remember choices you have made during a visit. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Analytics — to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. These are described in section 07.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
Analytics
We may use analytics services to measure traffic and understand which content is useful. Analytics data is examined in aggregate and is not used to build marketing profiles of individual visitors.
Where an analytics provider is in use, it is named here together with a link to its own privacy notice. No analytics provider is configured for this website at the effective date of this policy; this section will be updated before any provider is enabled.
Third-party services and links
We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf and on our instructions — for example hosting providers and the messaging platforms that deliver our email and SMS. These providers are bound by contract to use the information only to provide the service to us.
We also disclose personal information where we are required to:
- to comply with a law, regulation, court order or lawful request from a public authority; and
- to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users or of KGV CONSULTORIA DE TI LTDA.

This website links to third-party websites, including merchants. Once you leave our site, the privacy notice of the site you arrive at applies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for:
- Marketing contact details — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Consent and opt-out records — retained after you unsubscribe, for as long as we may need to evidence that consent was given and that your opt-out was honoured.
- Correspondence — for as long as needed to resolve your enquiry and to keep a record of it.

- Stop SMS messages — reply STOP to any message.
- Stop marketing email — use the unsubscribe link in any message.
- Ask what we hold — request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and a copy of it.
- Correct or delete — ask us to correct inaccurate information or delete information we no longer need.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for any processing based on it, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Object or restrict — object to processing or ask us to restrict it, where the law provides that right.
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details in section 15. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. As a company registered in Brazil, we handle these requests in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law No. 13.709/2018), and with other privacy laws where they apply to you.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can reach personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International processing
KGV CONSULTORIA DE TI LTDA is established in Brazil. Personal information may be processed by service providers located in other countries. Where information is transferred outside your country of residence, we require appropriate safeguards from those providers under applicable data protection law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or to legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated before they take effect where the law requires it.
